personal views

personal views is an intermedial project on private photography as a cultural practice.

Based on collected anonymous slide archives, the work investigates domestic image cultures, recurring motifs and the role of photography in shaping identity and memory.

The project connects analogue slide archives with digital image platforms and explores how private images circulate, accumulate and construct meaning over time.

The project was developed for the European Month of Photography 2010/11 and presented in the participating EMOP cities.
